Yes, I had one 5yrs ago due to a fracture to my L5 I had tenderness to site for about 24hrs I definitely recommend ice packs for 1st 24hrs After that, very minimal tenderness A fractured vertebrae is very painful, as you know The kyphoplasty stopped the pain And recovery was short

The kyphoplasty was done by a radiologist I live in southern NH and he is considered to be the expert in it I see no downside to having it, except it may not be covered by your insurance If you are on Medicare I believe it is covered, but at that time I was on regular insurance and despite getting it pre-approved they then turned the claim down!

I had Kyphoplasty done on T8 back in Sept and still having back pain the Doctor has told me that I have Kyphosis due to the T8 fracture and an earlier fracture on T10 I have been on Tymlos since Mid Sept and have no issues with the medication but the Back pain is limiting me to what I can do to start weight training and getting back to riding and walking Has anyone had to rehab from these
