I think most of my lofi tracks have been between 70-90 bpm That range usually gives a good vibe for hip hop and all that I wouldn't worry too much about using a specific bpm though Just go with what feels right at the time If you're using a sample try matching the bpm of the sample or speeding it up and slowing it down until you find a good
