The hardest part is finding the thread pitch you’ll need for a your lever gun with a good 45 cal pistol can I don’t know why smith decided on that thread pitch (11 16-24) it’s usually reserved for 45-70 I just picked up a Mojave 45, but historically I used an octane 45 I believe rugged makes a thread adapter for their obsidian cans that will also fit griffin and sico in that thread
