Ditch the problematic Marzocchi's after you swap them out for a new set through warranty but keep the new ones uninstalled for when you're ready to sell the bike Buy the fgrt203 ohlins forks instead of doing the cartridges and then buy stw's ttx he's selling for cheap Problems solved I didn't really want to spend over $2000 just on forks

Anyone riding on the Marzocchi, can you please post your setting for reference Thanks 155lbs with gear, 2 turns in from zero preload, stock compression, stock rebound Bike is hoppy as hell What do you mean by "hoppy"? On turn in when you release the brakes the front feels like it lightens and looses grip?

The thing about marzocchi is that like the Ohlins on the S, the components are not top drawer Marzocchi makes a mean front fork for aftermarket, and i am sure that some of the tech has trickled down to the base suspension

I mentioned this in another post Marzocchi has a known fail part in the damper They will fail repeatedly and Ducati will replace them till your warranty runs out Seriously disappointed when I found this out through a suspension tech

Good move replacing the cartridges After the rebound failed on the second set of marzocchi forks I replaced the cartridges with ktech units The biggest improvement to ride quality was replacing the Sachs shock

Here are some pics of the OEM Marzocchi Fork cartridges I am very impressed with the quality of the design and coatings The design is very interesting It has a inital adjustable preload collar, nice hard anodizing and DLC shaft coatings Not too far off what off road Marzocchi forks are

2012 base 1199, I am quite confident the last time forks were serviced was 2015 and thus am looking to get some serviced ASAP Fortunately no signs of leaking and I haven't really had major complaints with them I had been away and limited to riding the bike, but am eager to get back on it

During the install of my Ohlins NIX30 fork cartridges today, we made an interesting discovery: The fork travel on the Marzocchi forks has a 33mm gap of unused fork tube at the bottom I was using a zip-tie on my fork leg to assess how much travel I was using under hard braking, and just assumed
