Seems like the Mayflash adapter is what a lot of people have been using before the official GC adapter I haven't heard any complaints on it I'm not sure on the lag difference or anything, but regardless, sounds like it's at least good enough to do the job

Mayflash drivers are badly designed and Windows drivers are better, the only thing they offer is rumble They also cause Dolphin to crash on Windows 8 1 So you're sure nothing is wrong with your controller? A friend of mine also has the Mayflash 4 slot adapter, which has been working fine for him too So if you can't get a hold of the Nintendo one, Mayflash is another good one to go for, and you don't even need to calibrate or setup the Mayflash one on PC, just flick the switch to PC mode and you're off
