Reply To: Why can I not open Fluent (with Fluent Meshing) from ANSYS . . . As a first step, close Fluent Meshing (or any other Ansys product other than Workbench) and try again Make sure you have 0 gpu and no more than 4 cpu set in parallel Can you launch Fluent in standalone mode? If there's no Fluent icon under Start=> Ansys2021 look for fluent exe in the ANSYS folder

Reply To: Wing leading edge curvature meshing problem Looking at the shape is it an extruded 2d object? If so you can run in 2d mode, that'll significantly reduce the cell count Or use sweep: you need to read up on inflation sweep as it's a little different to the unstructured inflation approach Then look at the bulk domain cell size: you […]
Reply To: How to generate prism elements through extrusion on complex . . . Hi Keyur,nI made changes in Advanced prism meshing parameters by turning off refine boundary and stop column and turning on auto reduction And by the sharp corners I meant there are a lot of faces that meet at 90 degrees and creates a lot of tight areas where the edge length needs to be small (~0 5-0 7mm) to capture the geometry accurately
Reply To: Transient Structural — Rotational Velocity Joint Load Will . . . Thanks for getting back to me I have tried switching between rigid and flexible to no avail The plan is to model an entire CNC machine but I am starting with the simplest components just to get familiar with the solver In theory I'd like everything to be flexible because I'll be using this model to establish geometric parameters for some of the cast components like the bed For reference I
