Recently, I attended the National Money Show in Atlanta The ANA was running a "Challenge Coin Contest " I received a coin with the initials of 16 "famous Mint engravers" on it If you determine the names, you submit them and you are eligible for some prizes I've determined all the names, that go with each set of initials, except one

Up until 1908 all "minor" coinage was minted exclusively at the Philly Mint There was a law that prevented the branch mints from striking them until 1905 It took nearly 3 years for the San Francisco Mint to start production of the Cent So you will not find any Mint Marks on Indian Heads except for the '08 and '09
