On sophos, at least on the version that I run (19 x) wireguard is not configurable on the firewall (only openVPN) so you have to run wireguard on a separate host If you have other ubiquiti devices then UDMP has clear management advantages, I recently ditched all ubqt wifi APs and moved to ruckus so that is not an issue
