- NGK BKR5E vs BPR5ES | BobIsTheOilGuy
That is actually a very hot plug in the automotive world, if this is a 4-stroke application, I would prefer the k20 pru-11 denso hot U ground A vastly superior Ni + Cu core plug vs a V power Well at least they used to be in the 90's, lol I will say O E style blue script NGK are better than USA V-power I don't like projected tip plugs in A C ODPE But if that's what Kohler installs so be it
- Difference between NGK BR6ES and BPR6ES ?!? | BobIsTheOilGuy
A NGK (from the Honda), a Torch (from the snowblower) and a NHSP (from the generator) I originally thought the NHSP was a Torch because of the model number on it However the Torch from the snowblower has the obvious Torch branding All three plugs are about the same age, 8-9 years old Of the three the snowblower got the most use
- NGK or AC Delco Spark Plugs? | BobIsTheOilGuy
Price-wise, the AC Delcos are only $0 10 cheaper than the NGK Iridium IX plugs, though the NGK have iridium cores instead of copper No, the ACDelco are iridium 41-101 and the equivalent NGK are laser iridium ITR4A15, with the NGK usually being a $1-2 more per plug for the same thing really
- What a difference a spark plug makes! | Page 2 | BobIsTheOilGuy
What part # NGK plug did you use and what was the Torch #? I want to change mine too If your application is a Predator 3500 inverter generator, the factory plug was F7RTC which cross references to NGK BPR7ES (copper) or BPR7EIX (Iridium )
- Iridium vs Ruthenium spark plugs | BobIsTheOilGuy
Per NGK, G-Power Platinum plugs are good for 60K km, Iridium IX 100K km, and Iridium Laser 120K km Not sure about the Ruthenium HX plugs, as they were not around when I contacted NGK about the longevity of the various grades Nevertheless, I expect them to last at least as long as the Iridium Laser plugs
- Will Champion or NGK spark plug work better than generic Chinese . . .
The OEM spark plug was a Champion CJ7Y which X-Refs to an NGK 6761 The saw runs fine with the generic plug, but would either of these plugs likely perform any better than the no-name generic plug from the Hipa kit?
- Champion XC12YC plugs. . anything better? | BobIsTheOilGuy
In NGK took the heat and beatings and kept on ticking get the picture We gave the Champion a fair test but after 5 Champion plugs that failed in a short time and the first NGK that kept ticking I'l take the NGK
- Torch brand spark plugs | BobIsTheOilGuy
I bought a WEN generator (same one that gathermewool bought in this thread) It comes from the factory with a "Torch" brand spark plug, most likely a chinese clone of NGK Is there any reason to change this out for an NGK? The engine ran fine during break in, but I want to make sure I treat it
