Our beautiful Nanawall is the entry to our indoor pool in our new house During the time of Covid, many things were very delayed Nanawall delivered exactly when they said they would The local contractors that provided installation were reliable, knowledgeable, friendly and got the job done The installers were wonderful

Nanawall is basically German Components, assembled in the USA The cost runs $1k+ per foot and is determined by opening size, number of leaves and type of door (I would say typical for them is $1300 per foot) Panoramic door is about half the price and I suspect not quite as good You need to decide if the benefit of Nanawall is worth it

I've been looking at a configuration for a 12' wide opening that we'd like to make into a glass wall Nana is the brand everyone is familiar with but preliminary pricing is running $1300 a linear foor PLUS a substantial installation charge (they will actually discount the doors by 10% to 'help' with installation cost (!) Let's take a 20' section of nanawall at $1,000 linear foot (ignoring the $600 lowball number as almost certainly unrealistic, especially if you're including screens) That comes to a nice round $20K Now consider the same 20' of wall with a french door of equivalent quality (around $2,500) and three windows at about $600 each, so between $4-5K

Their website shows a Vinyl Bifold glass door, minimum height 7 feet, available in triple pane, with 0 01 cfm per square foot of air infiltration via the “weather resistant” sill This seems on par or better than the published numbers at Nanawall, and the overall U-factor for the Vinyl is 0 25 for tri-pane Looks like they’re part of Jeldwen
