It’s extremely difficult to find opponents for live games at the dan level on OGS, and without dan opponents it’s hard to become shodan Lightning games and correspondance games also don’t sound sufficient to improve At some point you need to sit down and play serious games And those are even harder to find on OGS

OP appears to want to know what “5m + 5s” means ( it’s not normal maths so 5m5s) and “5m + 5x30s” too There’s nothing in that page to tell you the first is OGS syntax for Fischer time with main time and increment, and the latter is OGS syntax for Byo-yomi with main and number and length of periods
