All the palms I noted survived 2011(-7f to -11f) As the futher east of interstate 25, or closer to the Sandias, the east winds during the arctic spells become a factor in palms survival So the actual "palm" zone actually lies on the westside of ABQ as our arctic cold comes from the east thru the canyons
