- Comparison of Fram Purolator Motorcraft filters via Brand Ranks . . .
This may happen on every cold engine start These are charts of flow rates vs PSI, keep in mind the top Frams and Purolator have synthetic media which apparently gives them a much better filtering efficiency flow rate vs the cheaper cellulose media of the lower end Frams (and I believe Motorcraft FL910S):
- Purolator One vs Purolator Boss Questions | BobIsTheOilGuy
I can clearly see the Purolator One would be a better choice for me than the Boss Also, I'm having a hard time trusting an amped up over excited Gen Z guy telling me Baldwin doesn't filter out much particles when older more experienced truckers, farmers, and equipment operators think Baldwin is a great filter
- Thoughts on Purolator Boss filters | BobIsTheOilGuy

- Replacement for Purolator Boss Oil Filters | BobIsTheOilGuy
I don't think the Purolator Boss ever was at 99% @ 20u as formally shown on Purolator's website for the PBL30001 model The Fram Racing filter is a decent choice for your engine because it's meant for engines like yours The efficiency if decent and I'm betting is flows well (meaning relatively low dP vs flow)

- New Purolator techs | BobIsTheOilGuy
As for "better than a real Purolator", at least for the TL14610, looks like typical Puro construction Without seeing date code, looks like those made in Fayetteville, NC As for topic 14610 (7317) vs shorty 14612 (6607) where room permits, I always prefer to use the larger application Here, also like still made in US
- Purolator Shipping Support Thread - RedFlagDeals. com Forums
