You can apply for a Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU) credit card the same day you become a member (I did) Also, FYI, I was initially approved for a $1K starting limit After one year of PIF each month and charging 100-200 each month I asked for a CLI (HP) and they increased my limit to $11,500 A $10,500 increase!

RBFCU experience: Opening the account was easy, it was not a hard pull The banker was very chatty and friendly Basically held my hand and had documents ready to be scanned to the lending department When all the paperwork was finished, she called the lending department via their web-phone+web cam It came back as denied

Got more exciting news as I found out RBFCU will carry the pulled credit check for 45 days I figured I would ask for a CLI on my rewards card and got approved for $5,000! Not bad at all! I'm so thankful I've been able to build my credit back up and of course get my relationship going again with RBFCU!
