I purchased my Ruger American Gen 2 on the 20th of last month Since then, I've sent it in twice The second time it resulted in a replacement The replacement, however, is having the same problems The bolt locks in the upward position just before closing and requires EXCESSIVE force to close

Ruger had a nice AR-10 the SR-762, seems like the SFAR was kinda of train wreck with reliability, I never understood why Ruger went down the AR-Road anyhow?? Plenty of other builders that make AR's But the SR series rifles were great, sr-556, sr-762 and the sr566 takedown were badass I agree I have an SR-762 an it is a fantastic piece
