I have added these serial numbers to the SWCA Post War 357 Magnum Database and there are now over 200 Pre-Model 27’s listed - identified as “Short Action” in the database “Action” field The lowest Pre-Model 27 serial number now in this database is S75514 shipped in late 1949 and the highest serial number is S81498 probably shipped
