sandbox mode in this game is hella confusing so for example, in default "sandbox mode", copy paste still relies on robots and inventory to place items on the map however if you are in editor you can copy paste to instantly place items however, copy paste does NOT work if you are in the entities sub-tab of the editor you have to be in the "NONE" sub-tab of the editor in order to copy

it is the worst tool in the game all it does is deletes your ship slowly with no way to stop it its mapped to q so if you try to push e which is the repair tool but accidentaly hit q and try to repair it does the exact opposite of repair, deletion and because it completly obliterates the ship and the repair tool needs an edge to start repairing there is no way to continue repairing

Its not, no sandbox or VM is perfect There have been exploits on a VM that can leak into a VMs host infecting the host There are potential exploits were a sandbox can be breached infecting the host and compromising the security of the host without the user being aware of it This is why it is best to use a standalone machine
