The retirement estimator on SavingsPlus itself is actually not terrible once you customize it for your situation I tend to prioritize my IRA over SavingsPlus because it gives me more fund options to choose from and it will stay in the same place as long as I choose to keep it there, even if I move employers I'm not maxing everything out

I think you might be confusing what SavingsPlus is It's a voluntary, employer-sponsored 401k 457 option to save additional retirement funds You can't put it into CalPERS I would contribute into it to save more for retirement, as the pension likely won't be enough If you don't want to keep it, you'll want to reach out to SavingsPlus directly for those options You might be able to roll it
