No, unfortunately the X3 will only allow you to load custom tune files, such as the mail order tunes or a dyno tune You could make your own tunes but you would have to purchase separate software such as SCT Pro Racer The SF3 on the other hand will let you modify the tune yourself using the device, but it does not support loading custom tunes

I believe only SCT makes use of the transmission tuning capability whereas the PIP is only a motor tune So the canned SCT tunes feel more powerful because they're manipulating the transmission operation in addition to the engine tune My bottom line; I prefer the canned SCT tunes better than the custom PIP tunes for the 6 7L platform
