However, whenever I go to import the model from SculptGL into Blender and go into sculpt mode and select ‘symmetry’ on my sculpting tool, it is never centered and is always displaced somewhere off to the side On top of that, the object is always angled weirdly when imported too

- Couldnt find a detailed SculptGL review or tutorial, or any that . . .
That's a cool idea, I've never heard of SculptGL, I'm pretty impressed, I hope they add subobjects, mesh offsets, and boolean operations Then it would be awesome Oh and maybe a standard metric work environment (world coordinates) and a bounding box scale option! Edit
- Is there a more beginner-friendly 3D modeling sculpting . . . - Reddit
If you want an "easier" sculpting environment than what Blender provides you could try SculptGL However, after you are done sculpting you'll still most likely have to pull it into Blender to do final rendering or preparation Still, I like the quickness and ease of sculpting there
- I made this SculptGL Review because none existed. . . its good browser . . .
I use SculptGL a lot, but couldn't find a good tutorial about it to link users to So, I made this one: the first official in-depth SculptGL review tutorial! Enjoy!
- Which software to modify existing STL files? : r 3Dprinting - Reddit
Mesh files can be modified for free with Meshmixer and Meshtools, and for more artistic sculpting results there's alway SculptGL Blender can be finicky depending what you're trying to achieve If you want a rapid CAD integration, Fusion360 has some of the best tools out there for feature convertion
