If your incision is seeping, weeping or I had a large gush of fluid, with continued leaking, after my hysterectomy It even broke open my incision a couple of inches!! Mine was not an infection, it was clear, yellowish fluid called a seroma Kind of your body's way of filling in a gap I had 2 doctors, due to colon surgery at the same time

I think this warrants a call to your doctor A nurse will probably advise you of how to take care of your incision to keep it sterile I have read posts by others who have described something similar

I am 13 days post-op and have had little or no discharge However, this morning I woke up and discovered that a one inch section of my incision was "weeping" a clear light pink fluid I called the doctor's office and was told that if it continues into tomorrow, I should call back and I may have to be seen Has anyone else had this happen to them (the weeping, that is) and if so, what was the
