The snakes are out everywhere right now, I have seen several while fishing during the past few weeks The Poisonous Snake numbers are growing in Indiana Timber Rattlesnakes in Southern IN Yellowood State Forest Timber Rattlesnake Timber Rattlesnakes are in Camp Atterbury, Big Oaks, NWR, and many other Indiana public lands also

While fishing the C J Strike area my partner and I encountered two rattlesnakes One was on rocks and another in the weeds next to the water Be advised that the snakes are out in force, use caution in the Snake River valley and any other rattle snake areas Does anyone know if there are rules against killing snakes?

Question for you guys who know snakes in Indiana: I was mushroom hunting yesterday and came upon a snake bout 3' long He had a triangular shaped head so i was scared cuz i was always taught if the head is straight with his body -non venomous and if it was triangular stay away his body

I've ran into coyotes in the dark, I've had an enraged Everglades gator come after me, I've stared face to face with a Florida panther, I've come face to face with trespassers, I've ran into illegal Mexicans in the Texas brush, I had a javelina charge me, I've almost stepped on poisonous snakes, all while hunting and have YET to feel I needed

Big water and beautiful country Steep and lots of snakes and ticks Pretty sure some of the outfitters transport hunters but I could be wrong because I believe there might be special permits involved I was just on a guided trip and there’s no way I would run that water Feel safer crossing the Columbia by 10 fold
