Just use it to the degree you feel most comfortable to play at your speed While there are things I no longer check for on the wiki, I still use it all the time, whether that is character locations, fish seasons, or how to obtain certain items There is too much stuff to remember for me to try and go cold turkey and do without the wiki

- Am I bad at the game, or is the wiki just necessary?
Also on the wiki it's easy enough to avoid spoilers for like the cute cutscenes that happen with the npcs, and there's enough stuff you can figure out on your own, so imo using the wiki for stuff like figuring out crop growth cycles with or without fertilizer, or checking processed item prices, etc is nice enough without ruining the game
