37" fish will weigh no more than 17 pounds, and that is if it is in great shape Normally most fish in the 37" range will weigh 16 to 16 5 pound range For a fish to weigh 21 pounds it would probably have to be around 42" I caught a 41" steelhead last year that barely weight 20 pounds 37" is a nice steelhead in anybodys book though

I agree with most of you guys, color isnt as important as jig placement, in the hole you are fishing, but it does play a certain role in water temperature, Jigman (Mike) refers to the straight white color, and its a good one for cold water steelhead, as is the light pink, anything below 39 degrees and those are killers, but there are warmer

Steelhead jigs tend to be at like 1 4oz at their very largest My smallest twitching jigs are twice that size You need them to drop fast, and those little jigs just don't get quite enough movement and will be tough to keep in the zone in moving water
