- Symbolab vs Photomath vs Wolfram : r learnmath - Reddit
I use a combo of wolfram, symbolab, photomath, and mathaway Photomath is my preferred stop, but really it's only good for solving algebra equations On occasion it wont solve what I want it to (ex Put in a polynomial long division, and it just makes it a fraction) and in that case I'll go to mathwawy, where you can specify what you want it do

No no, I was saying that some students, quite literally, copy the solutions directly from Symbolab and it is extremely obvious As in their solution will look identical to the solution listed there It's analogous to a student plagiarizing material from a website and it sticks out like a sore thumb

I find wolfram a lot better just because it's able to solve and walk you through the steps for differential equations while symbolab usually can't solve them It is pricey even for a student ($24 yr) but has saved my ass on more than one occasion

I've found that symbolab is the best to use to see step by step without paying They do have a subscription fee to go more in detail on the steps, but the free version is still way better than mathway where they just give you the answer and that's it

- Mathway vs Symbolab vs Wolfram Alpha : r askmath - Reddit
Hello I'm currently deciding between 3 apps: Symbolab, Mathway, Wolfram Alpha They all can solve differential equations, but Symbolab not always solve basic equations, for example cos x = x Wolfram Alpha has really impressing calc capabilities and good for solving any type of problem Mathway is good, but sometimes lagging
