- 1967 Tecumseh hh-60. Replace points with module. Yay or nay?
Im thinking that when I put the replacement crankshaft in Trinas 657 Tecumseh engine Im going to replace the points with a module One upside to this would be that I dont need to worry about timing the points And other one is that I would not need to take it back apart unless the module failed

- How to Rebuild a Tecumseh V60 Carburetor - Engines - RedSquare Wheel . . .
I could probably rebuild one blindfolded But when it comes to Tecumseh carbs, I'm like fish out of water I found that snowblowers with Tecumseh engines have a carb that is easily replaced with a $12 00 Chinese knock-off So it is more cost effective to replace than to repair But now I have a 1967 REO Lawn Skiff with a Tecumseh V60 engine

- tecumseh H60,,,,,,, basic information - RedSquare Wheel Horse Forum
to me Tecumseh h60 , h50 and h70 engines are somewhat easy to find Tecumseh made millions of them a lot of them were used on snowblowers , both with 3 4 and 1" output shafts some even had dual shafts , you probably would want to stay away from that
- Tecumseh H60 Timing Tuning - RedSquare Wheel Horse Forum
The coil to magner cannot be changed on the Tecumseh That is more or less a fixed dimension The magneto bracket with the coil can be rotated but you cannot move it closer to the flywheel The tool they sold to remove the flywheel was a piece of hex stock drilled and tapped on one end, screw it down close to flywheel and whack it! Carefully!
