The second option would be a 1754 or 1854 mud boat custom built by Prodigy boats with a Gator Tail mud motor This would obviously be the best choice for duck hunting, but I'm afraid would be the worst choice for fishing

A gatortail, gatortrax, prodrive, prodigy, uncle J, deadfowl, and maybe one or two others make boats built to perform well and last a very long time You pay more but you won't have a boat that looks like crumpled paper after a year and can't haul a buddy with you

Prodigy is built near OP and there are dozens of 1 year old prodigy's and other SDs floating around classifieds because the Georgia owners realize they don't have the need for one, don't understand the maintenance required on a surface drive, and all of a sudden are upside down and in debt for a boat they don't need to shoot the minimal birds

A lot of it is because it has multiple longitudinal stringers and better thicker aluminum so it isn't like a normal run of the mill aluminum hull Essentially all the gatortail, prodrive, prodigy, etc boats are designed the same and probably respond similarly It hunts well and fishes well, but doesn't handle chop well
