I have removed the transaxle from mower but do not see a way to drain and refill fluid The transaxle is a peerless, but I'm not sure as to what the model number is

With transaxle taking nearly 2 quarts of oil each you start out by filling the reservoir half way and letting sit it so air can bubble out Do this until you start on the fourth quart than lower the amount you add until each side stops bubbling

FYI, the mower is powered whether with the transaxles engaged or not engaged The engage disengage lever does nothin ie won't freewheel When you say powered do you mean the wheels are locked or if you move the operator levers with the engine running the wheels turn? I think gravely used the
