I have a "refund request" ticket in process with Volaris We, as a group, decided to just go with the next day Volaris flight, and cut the trip short by a day I call Volaris - "well sir, because you requested a refund, your "change flight" option has now expired and you will have to take the refund and then just purchase the new tickets

At the CBX bridge entrance on the US side, Volaris airlines has a check in right there as you walk in Nobody checks your rod tube You just surrender it with your checked bag and you are on your way Later in the airport , you walk throgh customs with your carry on stuff There you are checked by customs

#2) when using the CBX, and flying out of Tijuana, that flight to La Paz will actually be a domestic flight! Not international! Volaris!! That, alone, will save you $$! When you cross back, it's a very simple process clearing Immigration customs on this side All the agents are very chill!

Just got back from Loreto We flew Volaris out of TJ We had a 8-1 2' tube and 6-fully loaded reels on our checked baggage Paid an extra Sport fee for the rod tube $46 I think No issues You can not carry on loaded reels
