- Are new Volvos really unreliable? : r Volvo - Reddit
Volvo has two Polestar models, but both of them are four cylinder hybrids and one of them is a crossover I still love Volvo for what they stand for and think they make beautiful cars, but they aren’t as quirky as they used to be and they certainly don’t cater to the enthusiast market as well as Toyota Lexus

The big thing is that Volvo has never been a volume seller in the US In fact, 2023 is going to be the first year that Volvo will sell more than 100k vehicles in the US Over here, people don't seem to think about Volvo much When I've gone to fast chargers, people get confused interested by my car and many say they've never seen one before
- How reliable are the newer plug in hybrids from Volvo? : r Volvo - Reddit
Say if you buy a CPO MY2022 Volvo that was sold on December 16, 2022 You would have warranty until December 16, 2027 as standard and upgradable to December 16, 2032 Pretty great option TBH Get something with 5-10K miles and 1-2yo and drive it to the moon and back 10 times lol 😂
- D5 engine reliability. Therapy car! : r Volvo - Reddit
The i5d is a rock soild engine, probably one of the best Volvo has made along with the later VED5 (with the VED5 being better at making power and just about as reliable as the i5d) The D5 in the V50 and P1 chassi is the i5d Not to scare you or anything, but every thing in on a car can fail if you are unlucky enough
