If you're a user with access to editing software, try and render your GIFS as mp4s instead of GIFs Tenor automatically converts GIFS to mp4s and many platforms (like Discord) use the MP4 file instead of the GIF file anyway Plus, MP4 allows you to keep more colors and data in the file, instead of the extremely compressed gif files

Shotcut will output animated GIFs from either input video files or sequences of still images It's a free video editing software (though its a disgrace UX-wise, so has a steep learning curve) so it's better than just common animated gif makers if you're making an animated Gif from multiple video segments (i e you're actually editing a mini-video) I don't think it can do the video capture though
