I have Samsung TV models and Spectrum is requesting that I purchase their Xumo Stream Box in order to stream on my Samsung TV They claim that their App will not work with 2012-2016 Samsung models

Yup - - Spectrum is looking for more revenue! Renting Xumo Box's is one way Forcing those with TV's 8 years old or older to get them is a way to make that happen faster Outside of that, there is no real reason to disable the app on the older models Spectrum hasn't updated their app in years,

(It does appear correctly using a Xumo box ) However, if I exit by going to the top menu of the Spectrum app and click on the square with the arrow, (next to the settings gear), the startup channel is preserved and appears when I return to the Spectrum app
