Before you can renew your (now free) license plate sticker in Ontario, you also have to pay off any outstanding fines I was shocked to see that I apparently have $486 in fines I have no idea what these would be from, as I've never received more than the odd parking ticket, which I've always paid in a timely manner

All my mailed in application is delayed If more people are doing mail in then move the people from physical service Ontario location to help with mail in Waited 3 month for my health card renewal which I did by mail It never came I went to service Ontario in person and there was no line up and 10 clerks stationing the Center

I was supposed to have my license plate renewed back in May but due to Covid-19 and service Canada being closed they allowed for an extension Since service Canada is open now, I can renew my sticker, however I am moving out of the country in September

At Service Ontario you will need to obtain new license plates as well as the temporary permit, which will then give you 10 days to get the vehicle inspected, repaired if needed, and obtain a safety certificate Then you take the certificate back to a Service Ontario and request a new validation permit (sticker) for 1 or 2 years
