- How to add my AOL email to outlook 365 on new windows 11 machine
As Yahoo and AOL are the same company for mail purposes, I think partially it's an AOL Yahoo issue and partially an Outlook issue No solution occurs to me yet Have tried adding the Yahoo account and that works by providing the password, but of course doesn't have any of the other emails (it was basically an account to provide for junk purposes)

Hi, I got my AOL acct to work on Win11 by first going to AOL in a browser to generate an Outlook Password Go to the far top left to Options>Account Info>Account Security>Scroll Down to Generate and Manage App Passwords>Select a name for ex Outlook PC>Copy Password>Now Click Add Account in Outlook>Click Other Account Pop, IMAP>Enter AOL email>Enter Name>Lastly, Paste the Generated Password

I type in 'mail aol com' in my web browser After a minute, I receive this as a message: "This site can’t be reached mail aol com took too long to respond I do not believe there is an issue with AOL website because on my Samsung mobile phone and on my Samsung tablet, I am able to access my aol mail with no problem

If AOL Mail is not working in win 10 Mail, try this: Remove AOL account from Win 10 Mail Login to AOL Online Under your name select "Account Info" On the left select "account security" at the bottom

Freaking hours and hours of frustration I couldn't get my mail to update and then I figured out the SMTP server that I was told was wrong (i used smtp aol com, which is what had been posted somewhere, but it's wrong Who knew?) But you must first go to your AOL account and generate an app specific password I called my app, New Outlook AOL mail
