There's a mandatory and secondary document list on HRC that explains what should be uploaded to IPERMS Foreign awards has been the cert and GO approval letter which usually included a 4187 Annual records review was when I had both my award cert, 638's etc etc added along with any other training certs I accumulated throughout the year

You need to go to iPERMS, not your SRB You need to have the S1 update the SRB with any awards in iPERMS that are not reflected Any awards in the SRB that are not in iPERMS need to be removed unless you can upload the 638 The bottom line is that your iPERMS and SRB should match but iPERMS is where your 638's are

A lot of data from eSRB didn’t transfer properly to IPPS-A Recommend you review your personal records, find all your awards on paper, compare to iperms and have your HR section update 30-years in, I have kept copies of everything regardless of “the paperless Army”

There is not paperwork that goes into you IPERMS However to have it uploaded onto your ERB ORB SRB you need to provide the servicing personnel center with some documentation This can be either a copy of the DOD award citation (which lists the eligible dates), or a copy of the DA General Order which will also list the unit and dates

They just need to pull the unit report off of iPERMS and will generate everyone's DOD ID The question is, who in S1 is asking you? If it's PFC so and so, then their NCO needs to train them better If it's the NCO, then they are just incompetent Also, iPERMS uses DoD ID for cert sorting so your S1 isn't even authorized to use your SSN
