My setup is "all" Holley support hardware, 1 25" forward mounts (trying to avoid having to beat on the car for tranny clearance)and an aftermarket crossmember ( 75" lower mount than original) I am hoping this will eliminate me having to massage the tranny tunnel which I refuse to do Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Here is an easy one My tranny gasket was about gone so I replaced it I dropped the pan, changed the filter and gasket and then replaced the pan I put four qaurts Dextron Mercron III tranny fluid into it Started motor, let it get hot, shifted through all gears and checked the fluid level Nothing

- Decoder for 700r4 tranny casting #s please - Team Chevelle
Can anyone tell me where I can find a 700r4 tranny decoder to find out what this trans came out of I have found casting #'s on the front pump and pass side rear pad Trying to find out if this tranny is the "old" or "new and improved version" of the 700r4 I've heard that the 1987 and up versions are alot better for performance use Thanks
- th350 kickdown cable hole leak - Team Chevelle
I replaced the little rubber boot gasket at base of kick down cable at tranny, put a bit of fluid, ran it for a bit and slowly but surely began leaking again Not as much a prior to replacing the boot I tightened the bolt nice and tight By chance, does the bolt need some type of sealer? Is it possible it's leaking out of bolt hole?
