elephants gerald is musical duo. the basic ideology behind the project is to create music in an organic setting, music heavily influenced by american styles. in late 2010 long time collaborators and friends kevin gillespie and zachary mattix traveled abroad with the intention of creating elephants gerald. finally having found a specific joint creative outlet, they developed and recorded their first album together. after releasing their initial record in late 2011, the duo continues to produce new music and explore new avenues through which to share it.
