the pamlico-tar river foundation is an organization devoted to monitoring, protecting, and enhancing the tar-pamlico river and watershed while promoting environmental justice in 17 counties located in eastern north carolina. we participate and encourage paddling, fishing, and other recreation activities; while our riverkeeper advocates for a clean and health tar-pamlico river.
