What is a surplus sale? Surplus sales are a joint effort between BYU OIT Surplus and BYU Moving to make surplus items available to purchase During the monthly surplus sale, many items not normally available can be purchased or auctioned off *Disclaimer: Surplus items are all used Discretion is advised when purchasing
- Surplus Furniture
Surplus furniture is furniture that has been removed from campus and is sold to the general public Availability of Surplus Furniture fluctuates wildly due to the unpredictable nature of when furniture is received
- General Surplus
The general public is invited and encouraged to come shop for these items at the monthly Surplus Sales These Surplus Sales happen once a month, typically on the 3rd Thursday from 4pm-6pm

The BYU Moving Department handles all furniture surplus from the University If you have something you would like surplussed, please send an email to surplus@byu edu with a description of the item (s) and where they are located
