My ledger firmware and Ledger Live software were both up-to-date I tried numerous attempts at trying to resolve this (closing reopening Ledger Live, unplugging Ledger and reconnecting, changing cables USB ports, stuck on the bootloader, Windows 10 Safe Mode, the Chrome Ledger Manager, etc and none seemed to work)

There isn't an overt "logout" button within Ledger Live, however you should be able to reset the software back to a fresh state by navigating to "Settings" > "Help" > "Reset Ledger Live" This will erase all of the data stored on the computer related to Ledger Live, including the accounts, transactions histories, and settings Alternatively, you can also uninstall the Ledger Live application
