We are looking @ the excursion in Naples to do Pompeii,Sorrento Capri,,, concerned about geting seasick on the jetfoil ???? The boat is obviously smaller and less stable than the cruise ship so the motion is more noticeable but not bad I don't get sea-sick but don't enjoy the feeling on smaller vessels and did fine on the ferry

Hydrofoil terminal just left of cruiseship terminal main gate Crossing is weather dependent (smooth or rough) I've found that the best way is to take hydrofoil to Capri, then Capri to Sorrento (much shorter sailing, about 15 minutes, sailing time posted at Capri pier), from Sorrento, take the train back to Naples (about 45 minutes, runs regularly and cheap) to avoid the long return sea

The boat ride around the island (to where you transfer to the small boats to enter the Grotto) is quite picturesque The shopping on Capri can be very interesting Capri Town has its share of touristy shops, but also has a street with quite a few world-class boutiques (its the first place we saw 600€ Jeans)
