Are you a student at OHSU now? Their application procedure seems needlessly complicated and drawn out, compared to any other school I am It really is rough on applicants, and I'm not sure I agree that it's the best way to go about it, especially considering other schools are able to select

OHSU is very biased towards people who are IS and who have Oregon Heritage OOS with ties : From what I understand, since I am still processing, I haven't even been added to the pool for mission-based screening or otherwise held for OOS non-mission screening in February

OHSU says their goal is to get a decision to you within ~6 weeks of your interview date However, the consensus from this year (and the threads I've combed through from previous cycles) is that there is no hard set rule I heard back at almost exactly the 6 week mark Someone earlier in this cycle's thread heard back 2-3 weeks after interview

I clarified with admissions a few months ago that OHSU does accept update letters via email and will add them to your file for consideration, but only before the committee meets to discuss your file after your interview Once they've met and discussed your application after your interview, they can't accept further updates at that point

OHSU is extremely mission-focused, so you can have stellar academic achievements, but if your application doesn't resonate with their mission, they're unlikely to offer you an interview based on stats alone
