Firmware deploys this trojan that allows complete remote control of a system using almost entirely genuine windows components to avoid detection 1- There should be a "setupact log" in here that describes how the file comes out of Firmware and gets around the Windows setup process to infect the machine

if you're in doubt try see the command line column like this if deemed suspicious unimportant, better turn it off i've got so many unknown programs back then and i turned them off I recently got a new laptop (acer aspire lite AL15-52 ) and there is an a unknow program in my startup apps list

I went to task manager startup apps and found a file with the number 1 and one with ab0de8ef-8c7b-4468-add7-851e37c03a79 Ab0de8ef-8c7b-4468-add7-851e37c03a79 as the name I have since disabled the file in start up I'm not sure if these are left over from some application or if these are malware

Looking through eventviewer, screenconnect seems to have triggered about when the issues occured- but I don't see an option to uninstall screenconnect through add-remove programs, and I suspect

After the fix, Malwarebytes isn't blocking anything anymore Also, I found a suspicious folder in AppData\Local, called OWYsN2YsN2YsYTAsOWUsODYsOGMsOTYsNjQsN2Ms It had an exe, dll and a config inside Deleted it right away Ran it on a sandbox and I'm pretty positive it was a trojan
