Odachi is VERY viable and powerful especially with living weapon It's been several years since I played but my set up was having Susano graces with Tatenashi armour plus Honda clan by WotN but since you're starting from WotS don't worry too much about it until you hit Demon and rush to Nioh so you can start farming

The odachi has great break damage (ki damage on blocking opponents aka humans) bit sub par ki damage on normal damage The dual swords are pretty good at both but if u want to use odachi just use the dual swords to fill in the gaps
