When I want to import from Edward Jones, I must first log into my account either on my computer or on my iPad After I do that, when TurboTax prompts me, I enter Ed ward Jones from the drop down box and my Consolidated Statement downloads into my Desktop software I did it a week ago and it worked

Tried everything to the point Edward Jones locked by account for too many tries to access it Turbo Tax just refuses to accept my username password PERIOD These are not "special characters" or "odd figures" I can and do long on just fine to the Edward Jones web pages I have found NO help from Turbo Tax

1) Turn off two-factor authentication with Edward Jones (temporarily for the import) 2) Change your Edward Jones password to something simple without special characters (temporarily for the import) Note that it seems like it might take a day or two for this password change and or the two factor authentication change to cascade through the system

Edward Jones is one of TurboTax's Import Partners, so you should definitely have the ability to import your information First, make sure you are following the correct steps listed in this TurboTax FAQ: How do I import my 1099? - Community - TurboTax If you are following those steps and continue to have issues, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, or using a different browser

I have changed my password on Edward Jones site to eliminate special characters, and I'm still getting the "Response from Edward Jones" that their system did not recognize my ID or password I've tried enabling third-party access, but that just offers docs for DLing to desktop (in a zip file) My hunch is that Edward Jones' new site is the problem, but it's really a hassle
