- Best Compound for a finger shooter? - forums. bowsite. com
Bowhunting and Archery Information Article If you stay with the three split fingers pulling as equally as possible, as we used to use, you'll probably be better off with a compound of about 43" minimum axle-to-axle length, and a letoff of around 65% maximum These features help to cancel some of the effects of the sensitivity of that release method to tension in the string hand and wrist, and
- Facts about weapons and data - forums. bowsite. com
We can describe subdivisions of bows on the bow spectrum See the old advert image posted here and tell me why anti cross bow peeps would object to that technology which is clearly inferior to hi tech compound bows (perhaps all compounds) and possibly less than equal to some high performing stick bows Go ahead
- Are Old Compounds Worth Anything? - forums. bowsite. com
Old bows in good condition are worth a lot but they won't fill your wallet You can take an older bow and get a neighbor started in archery I started with a borrowed bear whitetail I used it for a season before buying my first purchased bow I knew a lot more about my preferences from the experience From: stagetek 03-Feb-21

GF, I think that your point is a good one, except you are wrong to compare compound bows with e bikes E bikes will make practically zero difference in the number of bow-hunters, but advancements in compound bows certainly increased bow-hunter numbers Compound bows today are so easy to shoot that just about anyone can buy a bow today and be ready to hunt tomorrow It has made it so easy that
- Round wheels question - Bowsite. com
I agree! I bought a Ross 337 used because at a show I tried several brands of bows I liked the Ross draw cycle (force draw curve) the ebst I HATE hatchet cam type bows The weight rises rapidly in the first few inches of draw adn stays at max until an inch or two from letoff
- Best shooting bow i have ever had - forums. bowsite. com
Since I started shooting with a release (2014), I have owned two compound bows - a Mathews Drenalin LD and a Bowtech Revolt X The Mathews is essentially a target bow painted camouflage, while the Bowtech has a more common ATA length (33") On average, I shoot both bows equally well - but I have shot more one-inch groups at 50-yards with the
- Wife wants to shoot, I need help - Bowsite. com
As for types of brands bows, I'd suggest you start her with a bow that won't break your budget, possibly something 'gently' used in her draw length and with a weight that can be adjusted up or down commensurate with her strength There are several brands out now that cater to women shooters, G5's Storm (Quest), Matthews Jewel, Bowtech's Shockey model etc The important thing is to make sure
