Norwegian vs Carnival, Norwegian Cruise Line I'm wondering if anyone has done both cruise lines in the past and what the main differences and similarities are I know NCL has freestyle dining where you can go whenever you want and sit wherever you want where Carnival typically has a certain time, at the same table, with the same server (s)

I spent years diving all over the Caribbean but my newly certified son wants to go while on the cruise I thougth it better to book through NCL so I wouldn't have to worry about getting back to the ship on time For those of you have booked through NCL, how was the dive experience? Was the dive boat crowded (which seems to be the major complaint)?

I got an email from Carnival about our cruise that departs on 3 12 It says that we have been assigned a staggered check in time at 3-4 PM I have never, in my life, boarded a ship that late I find this irritating since this is only a 3 day cruise and now they are shortening one of those days! Tipping Casino Hosts, Cruise Casinos On my recent cruise, the two casino hosts were just terrific They ran the tournaments and made the whole experience fun After I got off the ship, I started to wonder if I should have tipped them I tip my dealers, cabin steward, waiters ect I feel kind of guilty that I did not think about it at the time Do any of you tip the hosts?
