Citi hard pulls your credit to get increases on the Best Buy card, so I wasted a lot of hard pulls over the years A little over a year ago, in year 14 I decided to try once again and I asked to go from $1000 to $15,000 They countered and increased me to $13,000 I was extremely grateful and happy to finally get increased!

I have a Best Buy citi card and i use it strictly for Best Buy stuff Citi puts out offers from time to time for some great no interest promotions… they have one going on now for 24 months for larger purchases It’s a good card to have to purchase the occasional large ticket item like computers, TVs or appliances

The Best Buy credit cards are eligible for increases every 6 months Just be aware that it will always result in a hard inquiry They don't auto increase this card so you'll have to endure hard inquiries in order for it to grow

You can try calling them and asking them to reopen the account, but I wouldn't count on it A year is a long time without any use As a general rule, you want to put a charge on a card at least every six months I do all my SD cards on a quarterly basis, just in case, to avoid this (if possible)
