The John Gilson in the original posting in this chain had a brother, William Gilson, who farmed outside of Jackson, Michigan in the 1800s He married Mary Ellen Dougherty [Doherty?], and they had eight children John and William's sister, Margaret Gilson Gilshenan Kearney, also lived in Michigan in the 1800s, but neither she, nor any of her children, moved to Indiana
