Inbox shows 1 unread message For weeks I seem to a phantom unread message in my personal gmail inbox I cant seem to locate it and used the search email box: unread and nothing shows up Anyone seen this before?

On my computer, my Inbox is showing 26 unread messages, even though there aren't any On my phone and iPad, it does not show this way though I have tried the toggle to choose all Unread messages, but it says there are no unread messages This doesn't interfere with anything, but it's an annoyance to continually see there are unread messages

My inbox shows Inbox (1) even after I select mark all as read it says there's no unread messages I've had issues before where on my phone my Gmail app would show 1 notification but no unread messages and I just had to uninstall and re-install the app

I want to have unread messages show up first in my inbox folder, but not have the aggregate of all other unread category emails show up first in a unified inbox I want to keep my inbox organised in folders according to the Default view settings, but have my main "inbox" folder organised with unread first Let me know if it is possible!

2 Up until two days ago, my "Inbox" in Gmail has only shown unread emails at the top, with the read ones being shown somewhere near the bottom For some reason, this has changed While my "Inbox" tab still shows "32" next to it, on the right hand side I can now see all emails, including unread ones
